Game Designer
Pushka studios is a group of people who love games. We act with ownership to create the result we can take pride in. We set big goals and high expectations, we think forward and accept opportunities to achieve success. We believe that the best results come from people who can think outside the box. We are looking for a game designer to help us build single-player/co-op mid-scope projects between indie and AA - games built around a clear core idea and a few polished and fun mechanics. Think titles like Factorio, They Are Billions, Valheim, The Riftbreaker, Dredge, Pacific Drive, 20 Minutes Till Dawn, The Forest, or Supermarket Simulator. You should enjoy this style of games and understand what makes them engaging: how game loops work, how mechanics connect, and why players stick with them. We need someone who can break down existing designs, create new systems, and iterate quickly on prototypes. Your main focus will be prototyping and launching new projects, along with supporting the ones already in development. You will take full ownership of game features, make them playable with the team, and maintain them through docs and updates.
